EAP FOR MANAGERS
The Solutions Group EAP can be a valuable resource and management tool for organizational leaders. By promoting a proactive focus on employee well-being, we can help your organization reduce liability costs through training and advice from our professional counselors who will guide you through the appropriate steps when dealing with employees.
GETTING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR EAP
If you are an organizational leader, here are some ways the EAP can provide support.
Call the EAP at any time to discuss ways you can help employees improve work performance, improve attitudes and resolve conflicts.
- A troubled employee seems to be struggling with gambling, substance abuse, family issues or domestic violence.
- An employee who is typically reliable and productive has had a recent change in behavior and/or work performance.
- A group of employees have low morale, seem discouraged or disengaged.
- Two employees are not getting along and their behavior is affecting the work of others.
Refer employees who are having conflicts for informal mediation. Both participants must be willing to attend (but not mandated to do so). Mediation results are confidential; managers will only receive confirmation of their attendance.
Refer employees who are having work performance issues. There are two types of referrals.
As an EAP client, you will receive a quarterly Utilization Report, along with relevant insights about trends or issues among your employees.
