Adam Stern, MA, LPCC, SAP
Chief Operating Officer and
Clinical Director
Adam Stern, MA, LPCC, CEAP is the Chief Operating Officer and Clinical Director at The Solutions Group. Mr. Stern is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University and received his graduate degree from Antioch University, New England Graduate School, in 1987. He then completed Post-graduate work at the Family Institute of Cambridge in systemic family therapy. Adam and his wife live in Albuquerque, where he has been providing Employee Assistance Program services for over 10 years.

Adam is a Qualified Substance Abuse Professional under DOT 49CFR Part 40. He specializes in substance abuse assessments and individual, couple and family counseling. Adam currently serves on the Bernalillo County DWI Planning Council. On a personal note, Adam Stern lives in Albuquerque with his wife and two sons. He enjoys playing guitar and coaching Little League.


Donna Hurula, M.Ed., LPCC
Staff Counselor
 


Donna is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor at The Solutions Group with over 18 years experience. She holds a B.S. in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Education/Counseling from the University of Missouri. She has worked as Mental Health Counselor within psychiatric hospitals for 10 years. During this time she gained experience in counseling all in-patient populations.

Mrs. Hurula's professional expertise include, relationship dynamics, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, and stress management. Donna lives with her husband, three active children, and the family dog in the Albuquerque area.


Susan McCamey, MA, LPCC
Staff Counselor


Susan McCamey, MA, LPCC, is a consultant and coordinator of provider relations at The Solutions Group. Susan is a graduate in Philosophy from The University of Montana and received her graduate degree in Counseling from the University of New Mexico, in 1996. She also has a related master's degree in Art Therapy. Susan trained as an intern in settings ranging from psychiatric hospitals to homeless shelters.

Susan's interests are in the field of emotional intelligence and emotional regulation skills training. She also has experience working with trauma and abuse survivors. Susan and her husband have lived in Albuquerque for 16 years, where she has been practicing as a therapist for 10 years. They have a baby daughter and two cats. Susan enjoys sewing, outdoors activities, and music.


Neva Nash MA, LPCC
Staff Counselor
 

Neva Nash MA, LPCC, acts as a Consultant/Counselor for the Solutions Group. She attained a BA in Psychology and a MA in Counseling from the University of New Mexico. She is also a Certified teacher and Elementary school counselor.

Neva has 23 years of experience dealing with the issues of children, adults, elderly and families. She began her career as Program Director for Women’s' Program at Charter Hospital and later as the Program Director for alcohol and drug abuse at Vista Sandia Hospital. After a lengthy time as onsite EAP Consultant for a large manufacturing plant Neva began working as a therapist offsite using cognitive behavioral techniques to enhance services for brief therapy. Short term, resolution focused (cognitive behavioral ) therapy adapts well to EAP services and counseling including issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, parenting and stress. Mrs. Nash, mother of six adult children, and soon to be four grandchildren lives quietly with her husband, now retired and their dogs.


Aria Ponciroli, MSW, LISW
Santa Fe


Our Santa Fe office is staffed by Aria Ponciroli, MSW, LISW, CEAP. Ms. Ponciroli has 16 years of extensive EAP and mental health experience in Santa Fe. She has worked as the Acting Director of the New Mexico Employee Assistance Program which provided EAP services to over 24,000 employees of the State of New Mexico. Ms. Ponciroli is widely respected in the Santa Fe community as a superb EAP counselor and consultant as well as an active member of the Santa Fe community.

Ms. Ponciroli has extensive experience in training, program management and development, Critical Incident Stress Debriefing, mediation, Substance Abuse Professional services, management consultation and organizational assessment. Her clinical specialties include mood disorders, marital and relationship counseling, codependency and ACOA issues, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders and stress management and work/life balance. Ms. Ponciroli has provided services to the City of Santa Fe for the past eight (8) years as an employee of The Solutions Group as well as of a prior employer.
